Haniel is the angel Heaven sends when love becomes a crime. But now the sinner is Ceraphel—the angel Heaven Joined to her.
He taught Haniel to believe that, even in a world of cold mandates, something true could exist between them. Then he chose Eve, a human, and refused to renounce her even under threat of Hell. He committed the very sin Haniel has spent decades punishing.
